Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, Bhim Prasad Acharya, has said the state should link tourism to economic prosperity changing the traditional nature of tourism development we are practicing so far. Speaking at a press meet organized by the Press Chautari Nepal in Baglung, today, Minister Acharya said it was necessary to develop infrastructure for promoting tourism for country’s economic prosperity. Minister Acharya said, β€œThe government plans to recognize and declare around 40 tourism places across the country. The government would pay main attention to mobilising the means and resources for the same.” He urged the district dwellers to prepare a concrete plan immediately and send it to the Ministry by explaining the need and importance of tourism development of Dhorpatan and other tourism places in the district.
