Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) and Paschimanchal Hotel Association, Pokhara, jointly organised a three-city Border Town Sales Mission 2013 with an aim to increase awareness and educate North Indian travellers on Nepal’s tourism products and offerings. The sales mission was organised in Varanasi, Allahabad and Faizabad of Uttar Pradesh, on June 25, 26 and 27, respectively. The programme was organised with the slogan β€˜Chaliye Pokhara’. The sales mission comprised of a contingent of 30 hoteliers and tour operators from Pokhara and Bhairahawa to woo North Indian travellers to visit Nepal in the summer holiday season. The participating Indian tour operators and media expressed their keen interest and commitment to promote Nepal as the first destination for North Indian travellers.
