We are glad to restart our office today after the devastating 7.8 magnitude earthquake in Nepal on Saturday. We feel fortunate that our tour and trekking groups are all safe after the deadly avalanche in Mount Everest triggered by the quake. As the quakes intensity is decreasing, tremor has been felt in fewer numbers today. No doubt it will take some time for us to be normal but we have already started our day-to-day normal lives. Survived people have entered their house, they have joined offices. Banks have started their operation. Hospitals are running. Most of the roads are in good condition. The pictures posted in Facebook and other media are of course disturbing but they are of extreme situations. There are places unaffected, there are people less affected. Surprisingly, Pashupatinath remained untouched of earthquakes terror. There was not any effect on this centuries old temple. We are all heartbroken to see the historic sites come to an end, but with time this quake will be a history itself so what we can do now is to join our hands and work together to regain the beauty of Nepal. Nobody can fight with nature. The earthquake was to come, so it came and probably it has stopped now. Rescue teams are doing their best. We hope to get back the same old days soon with the national and international support. We thank all our well wishers for their prayers, emails and messages. Your prayers have been heard. Fortunately we are safe.
