Nepal Association of Tour and Travel Agents (NATTA) in association with Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) has organized ´NATTA China Sales Mission 2013´ from May 15 to 24, 2013. A 35-member team of the NATTA and NTB will participate in the China Sales Mission. The delegates representing different travel agencies will visit Chengdu, Shanghai, Beijing and Xian of the People's Republic of China. According to the NATTA officials, the mission will promote different tourism products during the visit of four cities. The travel entrepreneurs are scheduled to meet local tour operators and travel professionals. NATTA, Nepali Embassy in China and the NTB´s representative agency in China have been organizing China Sales Mission since 2003. The number of Chinese tourists visiting Nepal is has increased in recent years especially after People´s Republic of China included Nepal in the list of Approved Destination Status countries for outbound Chinese tourists in November, 2001. A total of 53,373 tourists from China, who arrived in Nepal through air route, visited Nepal in 2012 spending on an average US $ 80 per day in Nepal.
