One of the frequently asked questions these days is whether trekking to Everest base camp is safe or not. If we are to answer this question, we say YES. After the death of 17 climbers in the avalanche caused by the earthquake on Mount Everest, people might have thought that itβs risky to go there for a trek now, however the ground report and reality is different. [embed]https://www.youtube.com/embed/N_P-0KMgUYk[/embed] 90% of hotels in Kathmandu are safe. Everest region was affected least in the devastating earthquake. Beside the negligible crack, the earthquake couldnβt do much in Lukla. Flights to Lukla are still operating. Nothing except a few residential houses has been damaged there. It was said that Namche Bazar was destructed completely and that is not true. Namche Bazaar is still the same, beautiful and peaceful. Namche is one of the most attractive tourist destinations in the world. It has 53 hotels and lodges. Most of the hotels and Lodges are in good condition and safe to stay. We understand the fear among the tourists, especially when the earthquake was followed by strong aftershocks, thus we send our representatives to find whether the routes and accommodation are safe or not, they found the trekking route stood unaffected whereas some of the hotels have been cracked because of the earthquake The earthquake was harsh on our company guides. Many of them lost their house hence we are planning to uplift their life by providing as much opportunity as we can. One of the best ways is to send them to lead upcoming treks so that they can earn some money. Thus we request you to come and trek to Everest base camp and help our guides get back their normal life.. Everest base camp is still intact and is waiting for tourists to come.
