Ganesh Himal Tourism Development Committee (GHTDP) and HIMS Nepal are organizing four-day tourism training to the locals lying in remote areas of Dhading district. The training, which will cover issues like Basic English language, organic food cooking, responsible/sustainable tourism, mountain tourism, and home stay tourism, will be held at Shertung VDC of Dhading. Bachhu Narayan Shrestha and Ajit Acharya are the resource persons of the training. A total of 30 people in six VDCs of Dhanding are participating in the training that starts on June 29. Speaking at a press meet in Kathmandu on June 27, Kul Bahadur Gurung, president of GHTDP, said the training is being organized to raise awareness and create job opportunities for locals. β€œI request trekking agencies to support the local people in rural areas of Dhading by operating groups there,” he added. The training is supported by Trekking Agencies’ Association of Nepal (TAAN).
