Ganesh Himal Tourism Development Committee (GHTDP) and HIMS Nepal are organizing four-day tourism training to the locals lying in remote areas of Dhading district. The training, which will cover issues like Basic English language, organic food cooking, responsible/sustainable tourism, mountain tourism, and home stay tourism, will be held at Shertung VDC of Dhading. Bachhu Narayan Shrestha and Ajit Acharya are the resource persons of the training. A total of 30 people in six VDCs of Dhanding are participating in the training that starts on June 29. Speaking at a press meet in Kathmandu on June 27, Kul Bahadur Gurung, president of GHTDP, said the training is being organized to raise awareness and create job opportunities for locals. βI request trekking agencies to support the local people in rural areas of Dhading by operating groups there,β he added. The training is supported by Trekking Agenciesβ Association of Nepal (TAAN).
