First Turkish Airlines Everest Golf Cup on Saturday

The First Turkish Airlines Everest Golf Cup will be held at Gleneagles designed par-72 Gokarna Golf Club on Saturday. The event will be played over 18 holes on a stable ford format with 7/8 handicap, informed the organiser Turkish Airlines in a press meet in Kathmandu on Monday. Around 100 players of different age groups including both male and female are set to participate in the event, said the organiser. Speaking at the conference, Senior Golf Director of Gokarna Forest Resort Deepak Acharya said that such event will foster the sustainable development of golf tourism in the country.
