Eastern Regional Tourism Fair from Thursday

Tourism Board (NTB) is organizing third Eastern Regional Tourism Fair 2014 in Damak of Jhapa district from Thursday. The three-day event aims to promote domestic tourism and encourage cross-regional tourism activities in the country, according to a press statement issued by NTB on Tuesday. According to NTB, 39 organizations from different parts of the country are participating in the fair that will basically focus on activities like promotion of newly identified tourist destinations and home stay facilities. Likewise, seminar and information sharing programs between national and regional institutions associated with tourism and cultural shows, among others, would also be held on the sidelines of the fair, according to NTB. source: republica, 28 Jan 2014
