EBC Adventure

The Everest Base Camp trek, was an adventure I had been looking forward to for a few years. AME ( a five star trekking company) did not disappoint. Fair prices and amazing guide ( Shusil ). We also had two porters ( DiPak and Sujon ). They did a great job. It should be noted, that we did have delays getting into Lukla, which caused me to have to reschedule plane tickets and accommodations. With the help of AME office staff, the problems were resolved in a professional manor. I can not say enough kind words and praise of Binu. She took care of all arrangements and drafted a letter that enabled me to get a full refund from my travel insurance company ( RoamRight ). Tips: Give yourself a couple of buffer days in your trip to Nepal, because of possible weather problems. Also, get a thirty day visa ( it took me two days to extend my visa), because of our delay into Lukla. I originally had a 15 day visa.
