Amazing trek + Overall experience

From my first contact with Tika I was excited to do a trek with AME. I was travelling alone in Nepal and apart from organizing my trek AME also helped me book travel and made recomendations for before an after my trek. In addtion my guide and porter made teh trip unforgettable, Himal was an eceptional guide with knowledge of all of the mountains in Nepal, he has a wealth of information on every peak you can see eachday on the trek. He is extremely experienced and knows the best places to stop for lunch or to stay, he knows if you can push ahead or if it's better to stay for the night in each place. He also mentally prepares you for each day whether it is a larger than usual incline or a high altitude day you always feel ready for what is ahead. The porter, Khem was also really fun, he had good knowledge of Nepal and spoke good english so that the 3 of us could have a good time and enjoy spending time together in the evenings. They even taught me Nepalese card games! The best part about going with AME was that the porter carries fruit the whole way so that each night after dinner you can have some fresh fruit! 

The trek itself is not extrememly challenging but it is long. I would highly recommend the trek for anyone wanting to see the varying mountain climates in nepal and wanting to challenge themselves physically but still be able to enjoy the environment they are in. I would definitely recommend this trek and Himal and Khem! AME is a great company and a Nepal based company so all of your money is helping the local economy!
