We choose AME based on the reviews on this site, after first contact Tika was very quick to answer any questions, later on Binu took over all of our future emails and I couldn't praise her swift and polite emails enough. It was great to finally meet Binu after all those helpful emails,
Everything was so seamless with AME, my brother and I arrived into Kathmandu airport to a sign with our names on it and friendly faces behind the sign, we were whisked away to our hotel in thamal , at which point we dropped our bags then took a 2 min walk to AME office to meet Binu and the team. We received very detail information about the trek and got our tshirts and duffel bags. Next day we had our city tour and it was lead by a very informative woman who was passionate about showing us her city, next morning we meet our guide Navaraj , he is the friendliest and most happy guide I have had, his joyful nature and ability to always draw a laugh even when your feeling so tired from 150km of trekking is a great ability, his customer service skills and client focus is second to none, along with Narayan our porter made for a very enjoyable trip even when the altitude hit us , Narayan was Also a blessing to have on our trek, always smiling and laughing and of course carried our bags with never a complaint! Both of these men made our brother trip to Everest base camp one to remember and we couldn't have done it without them! Such a great company we could not recommend more!Β
