Fantastic trek!! Binu was great to work with prior to and during my trip--she answered my questions and even worked around a trip I had scheduled after the trek. My guide (Abinash) met me at the airport on my arrival, coordinated my room in Kathmandu (hotel was great), took me out to a great welcome dinner and accompanied me on my flight to and from Lukla. Him and my porter (Kamal) were fantastic through the entire trek--still impressed with the way those two can climb. Both looked after me as far as safety (Altitude sickness) and ensuring I was having a great time. The rooms on the trek were very basic--no heat in the rooms, no showers for the most part and limited lighting. From what I seen that is the mountain life so something to ensure you understand prior to signing up for the trip. It's important to bring a fare amount of cash because power is mostly from solar sources so electrical outlets in most rooms are non-existant and you will pay to charge your electronic devices as well as bottled drinking water. Internet is available in most locations where you stay but it too has a charge for use. Meals were included on the trip but I was advised not to eat the meat items do to lack of cold storage. Namche Bazzar has the only operating ATM but it didn't take my debit card so I was glad I brought a good amount of spending money along. The flight to and from Lukla is not guaranteed to take place on the time or day you have it scheduled--when you fly into the airport you will understand why--so it's a good idea to discuss with Binu what other options and prices for those options are available. The views up there are incredible!!! I didn't have clear skys every day or all day but the times it was clear it was stunning. When climbing to Kala Pattar an early start has a much better chance of a clear sky. When I went over the Chola Pass there was a good amount of snow on the trail and I seen a few people wearing ice grips on their shoes--kinda wish i had a pair of those. Again overall great trip. Great company to work with. I will use them gain on another trek in Nepal.
