Everest Base Camp Trekking Overview

I selected AME Treks for my EBC Trek and I was really pleased with their service. Before flying into Kathmandu I was provided with a comprehensive itinerary and a preparation list for packing. At every stage their email response was really prompt. The team in the office Binu and Tika are really friendly and very helpful and they provided answers to all the questions I had. My guide Rishi Adhikari was really great, he was courteous, respectful and knowledgeable as he has been a guide for over 10 years. Other trekkers on the trip actually even mentioned that my guide was really great compared to their guide, which I think is a remarkable compliment for Rishi. Rishi is truly a great guy and I would recommend him. Everything was really well organized and the entire trip was as planned. I am not a regular trekker and my guide ensured that I wasn't rushed on the trek and maintained my own speed. The EBC trek is truly a beautiful experience and anyone with a good level of fitness should be able to make it to basecamp. A priceless experience and I am glad I chose AME Trek, excellent team and excellent guide.

In my trekking package, I had airport transfers, city tour, welcome and a farewell dinner. The lodges were adequate and you are certainly given the opportunity to have 3 large meals on the trek as you can choose any one main meal from the menu in the lodges.
