When we arrived in Kathmandu, we received a warm welcome by Tika Regmi at Hotel Blue Horizon. He was pleased to help us organize our trek. At first we wanted to do part of the Annapurna trek, but after a short talk about our options we decided to go with a more authentic trek, the Tamang Heritage Trail. We had a great 8 days trip with our guide Rishi. The landscapes were amazing and it was really nice to be able to observe how the Tamang people live. We definitely recommend this trek to anyone looking for a cultural experience in the Himalayas! Big thanks to the entire team of Adventure Mountain Explore for helping us plan the rest of our trip in Nepal.
