Product Description

A fuller introduction to the route, pace, terrain, and overall trip style.

TheΒ Manaslu Circuit TrekΒ is a hidden gem in Nepal, offering an unparalleled blend of natural beauty, cultural richness, and thrilling adventure. Nestled in the remote Himalayas, this trek takes you around the world’s eighth-highest peak, Mount Manaslu (8,163m), through lush forests, terraced fields, and traditional villages influenced by Tibetan culture. Unlike the crowded trails of Everest or Annapurna, the Manaslu region remains pristine and less explored, making it a perfect choice for trekkers seeking solitude and authenticity.

One of the highlights of the trek is crossing theΒ Larke PassΒ at an altitude of 5,106 meters. This challenging yet rewarding section offers breathtaking panoramic views of snow-capped peaks, including Manaslu, Himlung Himal, and Cheo Himal. The trek also includes optional side trips toΒ Manaslu Base Camp, where you can get up close to the majestic mountain. The journey is not just about the scenery; it’s a cultural immersion. You’ll pass through ancient villages like Samagaon and Samdo, where you can interact with locals, visit centuries-old monasteries, and experience the unique Tibetan-influenced lifestyle.

When it comes to planning your trek, theΒ Manaslu Trek CostΒ is an important consideration. On average, the cost ranges from $1400 to $2000Β depending on factors like the duration of the trek, group size, and the level of service you choose. This cost typically includes permits, guide and porter fees, accommodation, meals, and transportation. For those on a budget, it’s possible to reduce costs by trekking in a group or opting for teahouse lodges instead of luxury packages.

A well-plannedΒ Manaslu Trek ItineraryΒ is key to a successful adventure. The classicΒ 15-day Manaslu Circuit TrekΒ is the most popular option, starting from MachhaΒ Khola and ending in Dharapani. Each day brings new wonders, from the lush greenery of the lower regions to the stark, high-altitude landscapes near Larke Pass. Acclimatization days in Samagaon and Samdo ensure you’re well-prepared for the challenges ahead. If you’re short on time, there are also shorter itineraries, such as theΒ 10-day Manaslu Trek, which covers the essential highlights.

Permits are mandatory for the Manaslu Circuit Trek, including theΒ Restricted Area Permit (RAP),Β Manaslu Conservation Area Permit (MCAP), andΒ Annapurna Conservation Area Permit (ACAP). These permits not only regulate tourism but also contribute to the conservation of the region’s natural and cultural heritage. Hiring a licensed guide is also required, ensuring your safety and enhancing your experience with their local knowledge.

The best time to embark on theΒ Manaslu TrekΒ is during the spring (March to May) and autumn (September to November) seasons. During these months, the weather is stable, the skies are clear, and the views are at their best. Winter treks are possible but require extra preparation for cold temperatures and snow, while monsoon treks (June to August) are less recommended due to heavy rainfall and landslides.

Whether you’re a seasoned trekker or a first-time adventurer, theΒ Manaslu Circuit TrekΒ promises an unforgettable journey. From the thrill of crossing Larke Pass to the serenity of remote mountain villages, every step of the way is filled with wonder. Ready to take on this epic adventure? Book yourΒ Manaslu TrekΒ with us today and let us handle the details, so you can focus on creating memories that will last a lifetime.

Practical planning questions generated from this route, itinerary, and trip setup.

The Manaslu Trek with Larkya la Pass is generally planned as a Moderate trek in Nepal, with route pacing, altitude gain, and overnight stops shaped around the published itinerary. If you want a lighter or more private pace, our team can usually customize the plan.

You should plan around 15 days for the full trek, including the published route flow, acclimatization needs, and arrival-to-departure logistics. If you need extra buffer days for weather or private extensions, we can map that out before booking.

This journey reaches around 5213 and is usually best enjoyed in March-May & September -December. Trail conditions in Nepal can change quickly with weather, so we recommend preparing for cool mornings, layered clothing, and flexible mountain timing.

The advertised rate starts from $1,530.00 and typically covers the main trip services such as guide support, accommodation, and the core logistics listed in the itinerary. Items commonly handled separately include international flights, insurance, and personal spending, unless your custom quote says otherwise.

The Manaslu Trek with Larkya la Pass is a strong fit for travelers looking for small, flexible groups, local lodges and trek accommodation, and a guided Himalayan experience in Nepal. If you are unsure about fitness, private departures, or the right route style, send us your preferred dates and we will guide you to the best option.

Manaslu Trek ! AME Trekking Company

"Round Manaslu October 2013 I had the privilege to do the Round-Manaslu-Trekking in October 2013. The plan was to do the trekking together with Mr. Shishir Thapa, my guide from 2012, with whom I did a 4 week trekking in 2..."

"Round Manaslu October 2013 I had the privilege to do the Round-Manaslu-Trekking in October 2013. The plan was to do the trekking together with Mr. Shishir Thapa, my guide from 2012, with whom I did a 4 week trekking in 2012. In 2013 he started working with AME so I came in contact with the company and Mr. Tika. I used the company's guide-accommodation-porter-service. So I had a lift from airport, my hotel room at Blue Horizon and the support around permits for this restricted area. On the end of trekking I had a reservation for a hotel in Pokhara. Everything was well managed. The trekking itself? Is it possible to describe the magnificence of this landscape? No! So I don't make an attempt. The trekking was manageable despite I was 55 in 2013 and had no other training than my way to office by bicycle . What can be explained by words is the work of my guide, Mr. Shishir Thapa and Mr. Abinash Paraya, the porter. The right balance between careful support and respect for privacy. Their behavior was the behavior of educated persons. Without their motivation I had canceled the trekking after 4th day of strong rainfall (we had 6 in sequence). Mr. Thapa's very good English made it easy to run enriching conversation about different topics. So it was more an excursion of friends than a client-servant-activity. When reflecting the tour I have to say, that the kind invitation to Mr. Thapa's village was the most inspiring part of the journey. But this is a different story. Thanks for the marvelous days to Shishir and Abinash. Thanks for the organization work of AME! My advice for all who are intending to do the trek: Don't be that mean! 10 days for the restricted area is too less! Ich hatte das Privileg, im Oktober 2013 um den Manaslu zu wandern. Es war mein Plan, die Wanderung gemeinsam mit Herrn Shishir Thapa, meinem Wanderf ührer von 2012, zu machen. Wir waren 2012 fast 4 Wochen gemeinsam unterwegs gewesen. Im Jahre 2013 begann er bei AME zu arbeiten. So kam ich mit der Agent..."
