A fuller introduction to the route, pace, terrain, and overall trip style.
Most Trekkers around the world know about the Himalayas as many of them have already set out foot in the Everest region. With its fame and appeal, the Everest region draws lots of tourists. As all of the adventurers know, the Everest region has a lot to offer in addition to the Everest base camp journey. You could spend several weeks or even a month exploring the Everest region by indulging in different adventure activities.
Besides the Everest region, many of the trekkers don't have much interest in exploring the other regions in the Himalayas. Doing that, they might be missing many of the opportunities in the Himalayas. We want to let you know that there are two regions in the Himalayas next to the Everest region that will provide you with a huge sensation of adventure. They are the Annapurna and Manaslu regions located in the western region of Nepal.
Exactly, you will be journeying not only in one of the regions but in both of the regions. You will be doing both Annapurna and Manaslu Circuit treks in this stunning 27-day journey. This journey will take you to Larkya La Pass (5,160 m) and Thorong La Pass (5,416 m) which are the highest passes in the Himalayas, making it a once-in-a-lifetime adventure for the trekkers. Moreover, the opportunity to view more than thirty gigantic mountains including the eighth- and tenth-highest summits in the world, Mt. Manaslu (8163m) and Mt. Annapurna (8091m) is the feature that trekkers are not going to miss.
Therefore, combining the Annapurna and Manaslu Circuit treks is an appealing choice for people looking for an extended and challenging trip. We are certain that the experienced trekkers will enjoy a broad mix of terrain, heights, and spectacular mountain panoramas on this epic adventure that connects the two treks by an off-the-beaten track. Lastly, we would like to mention that it provides a tremendous sense of success and allows seeing some of the most magnificent regions of the Nepalese Himalayas while immersing yourself in the local culture.

Hello and Namaste! Right after you arrive at the Tribhuvan International Airport, one of our representatives will pick you up from there and then take you to the welcoming hotels in Kathmandu. After reaching the hotel you will freshen up yourself and rest for a while. Then after taking a rest, get ready for an overview of your excursion from our guide. Here, you are encouraged to ask any questions you may have as we go through the specifics of our Manaslu and Annapurna circuit trip during this brief conversation.
After completing this short discussion we will then get ready to have a welcome meal at one of the authentic Nepali restaurants around the city. Enjoying the cultural dance performance you can try those delicate Nepali meals with your friends. After finishing the meal, we will transfer you to your respective hotels where you will stay overnight.
You'll have a beautiful day today in a valley. Immediately following breakfast, we'll begin our day's journey to the city. It takes over half a day to go to the key sights in the Kathmandu Valley, all of which are reachable by private vehicle. On our journey, we'll make special visits to four historic sites that UNESCO has recognized as World Heritage Sites. The main locations of the visit will include Pashupatinath Temple, Boudhanath Stupa, Swoyambhunath, and Kathmandu Durbar Square. Another option that you could choose is to go to Patan Durbar Square.
We'll spend hours exploring and admiring the landscape of these places before returning to our office to prepare our clothing, packing list, and supplies for the trek tomorrow. If anything more has to be included, you can find out from a guide before making any additional arrangements. After finishing all of the preparation, you may relax and enjoy your time at one of the surrounding cafés or restaurants. Overnight at the hotel in Kathmandu.
Today we will set out on a lengthy drive to Machha Khola from Kathmandu. Previously, we had to set off to Soti Khola first, but now you can directly go to Machha Khola and start the trek there. On this driving journey, we will pass through various hilly landscapes on the famous Prithvi highway of the country. We will leave the Dhading District and as we drive through it, we will start to see mountain peaks in the distance. After a few hours of travel, we will descend to Ankhu Khola and eventually reach Arughat, where we will meet the Budhi Gandaki River. After taking a western route along the Budi Gandaki riverbank, we shall reach Machha Khola. Overnight at the lodge in Machha Khola.
We are starting the Manaslu circuit trek today. First, we'll start by going up to the river after passing through the gorge. Here above the forest, you can hear monkeys playing where the gurung village is further located. You will pass through towns like Khorlabesi, Tatopani, Dovan, Thulo Dhunga, and eventually the 1400m-high cultural village of Jagat as you continue along the path. Also on this day, you get to pass through the lovely village of Tatopani where you get to enjoy a bath in the natural hot spring. Mainly on this first day of the route, you will witness the first Tibetan-influenced settlements. Overnight at the lodge in Jagat.
Following the first day of trekking to Jagat, today's path will pass through a rocky area where you may see the Shringi Himal for the first time. We'll first go over the suspension bridge and through the forests. Then after some time, we will arrive in Doban by following the carved trail in the rock. While passing through the trails, we also get a fantastic chance to see eagles and other several birds in addition to the beautiful waterfalls. Following the trail further, we will climb up to Deng where we will be residing for the day by setting up the camp.
We'll start our day off with a hearty breakfast today. First, we will carry along the path that follows the Budhi Gandaki River. After several ascends and descends, we then travel through lovely forests, enjoy breathtaking waterfall vistas, and eventually arrive at the charming town of Rana. Further, the next part of our journey will take us through a pine forest, over a bridge, and onto Bihi Phedi. Here, you'll start to see Mani walls embracing you as soon as you pass it. So today, we are going to stay in Samagaon to give our bodies time to become acclimated to the thinner air at a greater altitude. Even though we're referring to it as a rest day, we won't be relaxing the entire time. Instead, we'll be exploring the surrounding areas. You may choose from a variety of locations to explore, it includes Pungyen Gompa, Glacial Lake Birendra Tal, and the Manaslu Base Camp Trail. You will return to Samagaon for an overnight stay after selecting any of the alternatives to visit.

After descending to cross the Budi Gandaki River, we will come to the trail intersection for Birendra Tal and Manaslu Base Camp. From here, we soon pass the river bridge and begin the ascent of a challenging slope. As soon as we arrive at Samdo Village, we start to notice the picturesque views of Mount Manaslu, Shringi Himal, and Ngadi Chuli as well as the Tibetan refugees' settlement. "Several months ago, a friend of mine came back from world-round-trip and said, “A.B.C trekking is what you cannot see in any other places but Nepal”, and excitingly showed me a lot of incredibly beautiful pictures from the mountain and the country, Nepal. The story he shared caught my heart and strongly made me want to visit this country. And now, I also strongly recommend this adventure into wild nature. This is the reason why I am here, coming back from 10days Annapurna base camp(A.B.C) to write a review for one of the best agency (Adventure Mountain Explore Treks & Expedition P. Ltd) in Kathmandu and for you. What I have found during this trip is that this trip is therapeutic, educational, and exciting. First of all, in the mountain area, there are no such things as mobile, familiar TV show, disturbing noise, and annoying friends. You are literally surrounded by nature and all you can trust is your guide and your heart. You also have much free time in the mountain, which makes you think a lot about your future. Second, trekking is educational. You may see a various people from around the world as well as local people. This, I believe, is the best way of getting to know each other, as you will see them again and again during the trail. Exchanging their personal story and back ground helps you grow your personality as well. Third, it is exciting. There is no question about it. When I saw the panorama view from A.B.C, I got so excited that I could not take my camera away (I am sure I took more than 100 pictures and video there). That was defiantly worth it. Now, I am going to share a bit about my trekking partner, my guide, Lok Bhatta. He is friendly guy. He is not only experienced guide, but he knows how he can entertain us during the whole trip. His caring and his humor take up my good memory of trip. Since Lok and I spent 11days together, it is no wonder we became a best friends. Also he persistently looks after me. When I wanted him to take pictures, he always s..."

"My mother and I arrived in Kathmandu with just 2 days to prepare for a trek around Annapurna Circuit. We feel very lucky to have met Mr. Tika Regmi and through Adventure Mountain Explore treks we were able to hire a porter-guide to facilitate exactly the kind of trek we wanted, a self-directed trek with Nepali assistance. Our porter-guide Sujan was a trusted and integral part of our little trekking party. He was very knowledgeable about the route, its hotels and side trips, and he even introduced us to local people and gave us interactions with local Nepalese that we could not have experienced on our own, like a tea in the home of a local family! We couldn’t be any more pleased with our trek. Shanna Simmons 1152 Crescent Avenue Klamath Falls, OR 97601 USA shannasimmons@hotmail.com"

"Thanks Tika We arrived in Kathmandu on November 4, 2011 with hopes to do the Annapurna Circuit Trek to Muktinah. We had no firm guide or porters arranged as yet but were lucky to stay at the Blue Horizon Hotel in Thamel where we met Tika Regmi at the Hotel Blue Horizon. Tika is the director of Adventure Mountain Explore which wa located across the street. With Tika's expert help, our trek was arranged with an extraordinary guide, Sittal "Hom" Simkhada and two equally adept porters, Santosh Uperkoti and Sanjeep. Sittal knew the trail very well having done it more than 25 times. He provided information and insights about each peak and landmark along the way. He guided us up and down with care and confidence, setting a good pace that worked for each of us, our ages being 69, 67, and 30 years old. Sittal also got us to our teahouse rooms promptly and made sure we got our meals on time. We never had to ask for service; it was always provided with a smile. We enjoyed the camaraderie or our guide and porters and spent time playing cards together and exchanging stories. Clearly Sittal loved what he was doing and was experienced with every aspect of being a guide. When our daughter became ill along the way in Manang, Sittal conferred with Tika and we took an extra day to make sure all was well before continuing. There was no pressure to move on before we felt ready. When we reached the summit at Thorang la Pass we all celebrated together. It was a group achievement as well as a personal one for each of us. We are pleased to recommend Tika Regni as trek organizer and Sittal Simkhada as guide with our highest esteem and respect.
